I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce myself, my name
is Michael Agostini and I’ve been photographing weddings and
outdoor portraits for 10 years now. Since childhood I have always
had a love for photography, but being completely self-taught, I
never dreamed it would have become a lifelong passion and
profession. My photography interests peaked during several cross
country backpacking trips. I have always enjoyed hiking to the
beauty and grandeur of the natural landscape and the challenge to
capture it on film the way my eyes and mind perceived it. Trying
to achieve vibrant colors, highlights, shadows and dramatic tones
of black and white had taken many years to achieve.
I am proud to
offer some of these photographs as Décor Images.

In later years, I became a teacher at a
local High School. Students had asked for me to photograph their High
School Senior Portraits. Senior Portrait Photography combined with
the natural outdoor environment became a much sought after
combination. Outdoor Environmental portraiture was comfortable, casual
and every portrait was unique. Students loved that their high school
portraits didn’t look like everyone else’s. During this time, several
friends and acquaintances inquired if I would consider photographing
their weddings. I was honored that these people wanted me to capture
the most important day of their life and I took on this responsibility
seriously. Thus began a wild turn of events…

Every Photographer has a different style, you must find one
that suits yours. Over the course of time I have established a
style that is uniquely creative, blending many types of
photography. My desire is to create images that capture every
detail with thought, feeling and distinction. Thousands of
dollars are spent making one day perfect and hiring a good
photographer is the most important aspect of it.
The images your
photographer provides you with are what make your memories of this
day last forever. My Goal is to make the decision of choosing
just 40-70 of the images that I create as difficult and agonizing
as possible. I am not claiming that I am the Best, The Hottest or
The Most Sought after Photographer on the market…...this is for
you to decide.

Now here I am a decade and thousands
of Weddings and Portraits later….and I consider myself a very lucky
man. Not only am I enjoying what I do, I have also been able to earn
a living making people happy by creating beautiful naturally posed
outdoor portraits and telling wedding stories with images that provoke
emotion and reflect the memories of a lifetime. This is the best
reward of all. I’m not in this for the money, my prices are very
reasonable for the quality of the work I do.
